Club Rush

Cub rush is going to take place September 11-13. I am planning to spend a full day on campus Tuesday the 11th if anyone would like to join me I would very much appreciate it. Also, Wednesday and Thursday I will not be able to attend club rush and would appreciate anybody willing to spend a little time getting the word out about our organization. If anyone would like to contribute please let me know! It starts at 7:00 in the morning until 4:00 at night.

EDIT: Organization Meeting Details

Fall 2012 Meetings are going to occur Tuesdays from 12:50-1:50.

There are no classes during this time and this will allow all students to partake in the organization. Also, required meetings will be every other week starting September 4th. Between meetings we will also have non-required, tutorial meetings where we will be watching videos to help members learn new techniques when dealing with their art.

I can't wait for the semester to start and get everybody back together again! Hope that everyone is ready for it.

Windmill I started about half way through the semester, finished it a few days ago but couldn't post it while my computer was batch rendering my from last semester lol

Anyways I want to try and texture this over summer and maybe normal map it to see how low I can get the poly count.

Quick Shyguy textured renders

Hey all, this is Kyle, I said I would put up some textured objects so here you go. I had a grimoire and a messenger bag done as well but I figured since I want to go into character modeling I would model something in zbrush and see how difficult texturing would be. Here is a very very quick model and texture job of a Shyguy, the entire project took me about an hour-hour 1/2. I will put more effort and time into texturing and learning how to texture over summer because I will not be taking any classes, but these next 2 weeks I will just be working on my finals for my Zbrush and drawing class.

You can't notice very weel in these renders but I messed up my seam and its quite noticeable on the front of the mask, I'll fix that once class is done along with a better modeled something. 

Edit: modeled in zbrush, textured in maya, 1024, cylindrical unwrap
